This 9.5 ha private woodland comprises 6 ha of old wood, improved in species composition under the Native Woodland Conservation Scheme  &  the installation of a new plantation under the Native Woodland Establishment Scheme on 3.5 ha.  The old estate walls accommodate nests. Bat roosts, badger setts & undergrowth provide shelter for a variety of wildlife.
